We manually collect, clean and verify data according to artist and medium. We reconcile differences in naming conventions and languages across auction houses. The buyer’s premium is removed from the price to allow direct comparison from different fee structures.

Our Charts and AVM use hammer prices only and do not make any adjustment for condition. However, all of our reports come with a link to original sources where you can find auction house information on provenance, resale and condition.

Subscribers get access to time series charts of past auction prices, market activity insights – including location of sales, liquidity, auction records – and an automated valuations. Everything you need to understand the artist’s market and calculate current values from past sales.

Yes and No. Reports are available to download as PDF. A list of sources for finding comparables is available with hyperlinks to the original sale. However, the raw data is not available unless you subscribe to an API.
